My little brother had math homework last night. He asked, “Can you help me?” I said, “Sure!” We sat at the kitchen table. He had to count numbers and write them. He didn’t understand one problem. I showed him how to do it. “Oh, now I get it!” he said. He finished his homework and said, “Thank you!” I was happy to help. Helping others feels good. My brother smiled and hugged me. I said, “You’re welcome. Next time, try first, then ask me.” He nodded. We both learned something new. I like being a big brother.
