Today was my favorite kind of day—I got to bake cookies with Grandma!
We put on our aprons, rolled up our sleeves, and mixed flour, sugar, and lots of chocolate chips.
Grandma let me stir the bowl, even though I made a little mess on the counter.
The kitchen smelled warm and sweet as the cookies baked, filling the air with happiness.
While we waited, Grandma told me stories from when she was a little girl, and we laughed so much.
When the timer dinged, we took out the cookies—golden, gooey, and perfect!
We ate them with cold milk, crumbs on our faces and smiles in our hearts.
I hugged Grandma tight, knowing cookies taste best when made with love and laughter.
