This morning, I wanted toast. I put the bread in the toaster and went to brush my hair. I forgot the bread! When I came back, I smelled something bad. The toast was black! “Oh no, I burned it again,” I said. I opened the window and made new toast. This time, I stayed near the toaster. The second toast was golden and crunchy. I laughed and said, “Third time is the charm!” I always burn toast when I don’t watch it. Now I know: stay in the kitchen! Toast is small, but timing is everything.
