Every day, I cook lunch for myself. It started last year when I moved away from home for school. At first, I didn’t know how to cook anything. I only ate noodles and sandwiches. But one day, I watched a cooking video in English and followed the steps. I made fried rice! It wasn’t perfect, but I was proud. Since then, I try to cook something simple every day—rice, eggs, soup, or vegetables. Cooking helps me eat healthy and save money. It also helps me practice English because I watch recipe videos, read food blogs, and learn new words like “boil,” “stir,” and “chop.” Some days I make mistakes—too much salt or not enough oil—but I keep learning. Cooking became more than just making food. It became a part of my daily growth. I now believe anyone can cook with time and patience.
