This morning, the sun was shining, and Mom asked if I wanted to help in the garden.
I put on my little gloves and grabbed a tiny shovel, ready to dig in the dirt.
We planted bright flowers, tasty tomatoes, and even a row of carrots for the rabbits.
Worms wiggled by my shoes, and I giggled as I gently moved them to a safe spot.
I watered the plants carefully, watching the soil turn dark and soft.
Butterflies danced around us, and the whole garden smelled fresh and earthy.
When we were done, Mom said, “You’re a great gardener!” and gave me a high five.
I smiled, proud of my muddy hands and the little green sprouts we’d planted together.
