At break time, I open my lunchbox.
Inside, I have apple slices and crackers.
My friend sits beside me and looks a little sad.
She forgot her snack at home today.
I smile and say, “You can have some of mine!”
Her eyes light up, and she says, “Thank you!”
We eat together and talk about our favorite snacks.
Sharing makes both of us feel happy inside.
It’s nice to be kind and think of others.
