Today, I learned to tie my shoelaces all by myself.
I sat on the floor and looked at my shoes.
The laces were long and a little wiggly.
First, I made an “X” and pulled tight.
Then I made one loop like a bunny ear.
I wrapped the other lace around and pulled it through.
I gave it a tug—and it stayed!
I smiled and shouted, “I did it!”
Now my shoes are ready for running and jumping.
Tying my shoelaces makes me feel proud and big!
