My backpack felt so heavy this morning that I almost tripped walking to school.
Books, lunchbox, and my water bottle all crowded inside, making it hard to carry.
I stopped to adjust the straps and took a deep breath, deciding to be strong.
At school, my friends helped me carry some of my books to the classroom.
I smiled and thanked them, feeling lighter and happy to have good friends.
After putting my things away, my backpack felt much smaller and easier to carry.
I learned that asking for help makes big loads feel small.
Next time, I’ll pack carefully and remember friends are great helpers too!
