Yesterday, I was late to meet my friend. She waited 20 minutes. I said, “I’m really sorry. I missed the bus.” She looked upset but said, “It’s okay. I understand.” I bought her a drink and said, “Next time, I’ll come early.” She smiled and said, “No problem.” We talked and had a good time. Saying sorry is important. It shows you care. Everyone makes mistakes, but a kind word can fix things. I learned to always be honest and kind when I make a mistake.
