On Sunday, I visited my grandma. She said, “Let’s bake cookies!” I was excited. We mixed flour, sugar, butter, and eggs. I helped her roll the dough and cut shapes. We put them in the oven. Soon, the kitchen smelled sweet. When the cookies were ready, we let them cool. I ate one—it was warm and soft. “Mmm, so good!” I said. Grandma smiled. We made over twenty cookies. I took some home for my family. Baking with grandma was fun and special. I love spending time with her. Cookies always taste better with love.
