At work today, I forgot my lunch. I felt hungry and a little sad. My coworker saw me and said, “Do you want to share mine?” I said yes, and we sat together. She had rice, vegetables, and fried chicken. I gave her some cookies from my bag. We talked about our families and favorite foods. I didn’t feel hungry anymore, and I made a new friend. Sharing lunch made my day better. Now, I want to bring extra food sometimes, too. A small meal can bring people together. I’m thankful for kind coworkers.
