Today, while waiting for the bus, I started talking to a man next to me. I said, “It’s very sunny today.” He said, “Yes, and it’s so hot!” We laughed. Then I said, “I like rainy days better.” He said, “Me too. The air is cooler.” We talked for a few minutes until the bus came. It was a short chat, but it felt nice. Talking about the weather is easy and friendly. It’s a good way to start a conversation. Now I try to say something simple like that every day.
